-- 50th ANNIVERSARY UPDATE --
The Toronto Thoroughbred Racing Club celebrated its 50th anniversary last year. The purpose of the club is to promote thoroughbred racing to racing fans and racing enthusiasts in Ontario to this exciting sport.
Our club promotes thoroughbred racing through regular monthly meetings at Woodbine Race Track on Wednesday evenings when there is live thoroughbred racing. In addition there are always guest speakers that are invited to our meetings such as trainers, jockeys, owners and other racing personalities who inform and educate our members about the sport.
Besides regular monthly meetings at Woodbine Race Track, one of the most popular events is our Awards Day where we honour various racing personalities who have excelled in the sport of thoroughbred racing. Another exciting event is a bus trip to a thoroughbred farm where members learn about breeding, training and the regular and maintenance of horses on the farm
Joining the Toronto Thoroughbred Racing Club is both an exciting and rewarding experience so consider a membership in our club. For more information about our club, send e-mail to info@ttrc.ca
